At Rothwell, we hope to join God in creating a warm, welcoming community who wish to journey together to learn about life, love, and faith. We look forward to getting to know you. School-aged children are welcome to join in the Sunday Club activities after Rev Mike's "Theme Time", and the little ones are welcome in our nursery with or without a parent. All are welcome for refreshments after the service.
Rothwell is wheelchair accessible and also has resources for people with hearing difficulties.
All ladies are invited to join us for an evening of fellowship and program with Dawn, Mabel and Marguerite in the choir room. Call June MacMillan 613-989-3711 for further information.
"Prayers and Mediations for Children" is a charmingly illustrated volume intended to open the way to an early understanding of faith. It includes a selection of simple prayers, biblical quotations, poems, and meditations for all ages. The first section is “First Prayers for the Very Young.” Thereafter, the material is treated thematically, covering topics from grace at table to evening devotions. A parent or older child may choose a topic for the day’s reading that reflects events or a need for understanding in their own lives or those of

We are collecting spare yarn, knitting needles and easy patterns for toques, scarves and mittens at the presbytery office for a special project “Knitting and Crocheting for a Warmer World”. As some participants like to knit or crochet, they will be making gifts for three M&S projects: Centre 507, the House of Lazarus and St. Columbus House. These gifts along with those made by local knitters will be blessed during the closing worship.
A letter describing the event and what is expected of those participating is posted on the bulletin board. The presbytery minister, Rev. Lillian Roberts, is the contact for any congregation, group or individual that might be interested in sharing music as a gift of faith in this interfaith context.
